Identification of Performance Factors of the Company in the Field ICT

The diploma thesis focuses on finding and identification of performance factors of the company by means of intercompany comparisons methods. It analyzes the company which operates in the field of information and communication technologies and is compared with companies in related field of national economy. The performance factors of the company are selected by means of correlation analysis, which influences the performance of the company, afterwards there are compared the positions selected of companies by means of intercompany comparison methods in particular years.

The second part includes information about the company Tesco Franchise Stores ČR, s. r. o., which will then be compared with its competitors and industry bests using a specific method. The last part concludes the analysis and recommends how the company could improve (its practices).

Diploma work deals with performance of company in short-term and long-term. The goal is to introduce the term of company´s performance, methods of its measuring and ways how to improve firm´s results. It is used profitability ratios and its decompositions, other indicators of financial analysis, model INFA with emphasis to indicator spread, bancruptcy and banking models.

Tato bakalářská práce si klade za cíl zhodnotit vývoj finanční situace společnosti Brano, a.s. v letech 2004 až 2008 za použití absolutních, poměrových a rozdílových ukazatelů a tyto údaje porovnat s odvětvím. Teoretická část práce se věnuje popisu jednotlivých kroků finanční analýzy, praktická část pak samotnému zhodnocení výkonnosti a finanční situace v podniku.
